This class is a combination of grappling styles. The techniques covered in this class are a mixture of Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, and wrestling. Every student will learn both offensive (takedowns, sweeps, pins, submission holds, etc) and defensive techniques (escapes, reversals, etc) using a variety of partner and solo based drills. Classes consist of a warm-up, technical instruction, fitness exercises, and a cool down. Just like the kickboxing program sparring is never forced upon any student. Also the sparring in grappling is with no striking allowed. We divide the class between advanced and beginner students. Beginner students aren't allowed to spar till the instructor feels they are ready for it.
